About this dataset
Last Journey is a Planck-like gravity-only HACC simulation evolving approximately 1.24 trillion particles (107523) in a 3400 Mpc/h box. It was designed for survey science that needs both galaxy-scale halo resolution and enough volume to sample rare, massive galaxy clusters.
The portal exposes halo catalogs and spherical-overdensity profiles at nine snapshots covering approximately 0 ≤ z ≤ 1.49. Last Journey's halo and core assembly histories also provide the structure-formation foundation for the separately registered Diffsky synthetic galaxy catalogs.
