About this dataset
Frontier-E (Gravity Only) is the matched gravity-only companion to the Frontier-E hydrodynamic run. It evolves 126003 gravity particles in the same 3150 Mpc/h survey volume, providing a reference for large-scale-structure and halo-population comparisons without baryonic physics.
Snapshot halo catalogs, spherical-overdensity profiles, and halo particles are available at z = 0, 0.1, 0.5, 1, and 2. Lightcones cover 0 ≤ z ≤ 2.97 and expose the same three products, while per-step density maps cover 0 ≤ z ≤ 0.25.
Full-sky lightcone maps are stored in HEALPix form and can be queried as per-step density maps or as 54 stacked redshift shells covering approximately 0 ≤ z ≤ 4.98; CMB lensing is also available. The portal offers nside 128, 256, 512, 1024, 4096, 8192, and the native 16384 grid.
